  Cultivated in the region of Sitia.  The experienced wine-maker, Giannis Oikonomou, creates a fine wine with a rich flavour.  It has a wonderful rich ruby red colour.  Its aroma  is dominated by a touch of blackberry and spices, with hints of plum, raisin and jam.  The well-structured tannins and the long aftertaste arouse and excite every wine connoisseur. It undergoes a long ageing process, in oak barrels and can be further aged if desired.  Enjoy it with spicy cooked meat, goat on the spit, meat pies, snails in tomato sauce and mature yellow cheese.
